Loaf
  • 3 eggs, room temperature
  • 1 cup full-fat yogurt
  • 1 lemon, zested
  • 1 lemon, juiced
  • 1 heirloom orange, zested
  • ½ heirloom orange, juiced
  • 1 tsp vanilla
  • 1 cup sugar
  • ½ cup butter, melted and cooled
  • 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • ½ tsp salt
Glaze
  • 1 ⅓ cup powdered sugar
  • ½ lemon, juiced
  • ½ heirloom orange, juiced

Directions

  • Get prepped.

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and generously grease a loaf pan.
  • Mix the wet ingredients.

In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, yogurt, lemon zest, lemon juice, orange juice, vanilla, and sugar. Once combined, slowly whisk in the melted butter.
  • Add the dry ingredients.

Sift the flour, baking powder, and salt into the wet ingredients and fold until combined.
  • Bake it.

Pour the batter into the loaf pan and bake for 45-55 minutes, checking at the 45 minute mark. The loaf is done when a toothpick comes out clean. Let cool in the pan for about 30 minutes before removing.
  • Make the glaze and serve!

Make the glaze by whisking together the powdered sugar and citrus juices. Once the loaf is cool, pour the glaze over the top before serving.
