Citrus Herb Grilled Salmon

A super easy everyday dinner, this simple grilled salmon tastes just right thanks to fresh, high quality ingredients. Tacoma Boys’ high quality salmon or Columbia River Steelhead only need light seasoning like fresh herbs, minced garlic, and lemon.

This recipe takes less than 20 minutes and results in a perfectly cooked piece of fish that even the seafood-averse will be tempted to try. All it takes is one whiff of those grilled, garlicky flavors to reel you in!

  • 1 lb Columbia River Steelhead Salmon
  • 1 tsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 lemon, sliced into wheels, or to taste
  • 2 tbsp chopped herbs of choice - we used dill and parsley
  • 1 tbsp minced garlic or to taste 
  • 3 tbsp Kerrygold Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Directions

  • Preheat the grill.

    Heat grill to medium heat, approximately 400-450ºF.
  • Prep the salmon.

    Place salmon filet(s) on a large piece of aluminum foil, skin side down. Drizzle with olive oil, then top with sliced lemons, chopped herbs, minced garlic, pats of butter, and salt and pepper.
  • Cook and Serve!

    Tent the foil over the fish, closing it. Place salmon in foil on the hot grill and let cook for 12-16 minutes, depending on the thickness of the salmon. Let rest for 5 minutes before flaking the fish and serving.
