Asian-Style Chicken Lettuce Wraps with Peanut Sauce

- 1 tbsp avocado oil
- ½ white onion, finely chopped
- 1 lb ground chicken
- 1 tbsp Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- ½ tsp Kikkoman Sesame Oil
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- Bibb lettuce
- Julienned carrots
- Chopped green onions
- Crushed peanuts
- ½ cup Wild Friends Creamy Peanut Butter
- ¼ cup Kikkoman Soy Sauce
- 1 tbsp Cascadia Fruit Wildflower Honey
- 1 tbsp lime juice
- 1 tbsp Marukan Organic Rice Vinegar
- 1 tbsp Huy Fong Chili Garlic Sauce
- 1 tsp Kikkoman Sesame Oil
- 2-4 tbsp water, or more to consistency
Directions
Cook the Onion
Heat the oil in a medium skillet over medium heat. When the oil is hot, add the onion. Saute, stirring occasionally, until tender, about 5 minutes.Cook the Chicken
Stir in the ground chicken and cook, stirring and breaking up the meat, until its almost cooked through. Drain any excess liquid from the pan, then stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and garlic. Cook for another 1-2 minutes, until the chicken is cooked through.Whisk the Peanut Sauce
Meanwhile, in a medium bowl, whisk together the ingredients for the peanut sauce, stirring in 2-4 tbsp water as needed for a drizzle-able consistency.Assemble the Lettuce Wraps
Spoon the chicken mixture into the lettuce leaves and top with desired toppings such as shredded carrot, green onions, and peanuts. Drizzle with or dip in the peanut sauce and enjoy!
