Wine Recipes
When it comes to incorporating wine and food in wine recipes, people often reach for a dry red or white. A dry wine is good for deglazing a pan to bring out all the flavors you’ve been cooking. Wines also go great in sauces, like a red wine reduction for steak or a white wine shrimp scampi.
When making tomato and marinara sauces, a splash of any red wine adds flavor and acid — Just make sure it’s not too sweet of a wine or adjust your flavors accordingly. And when cooking with wine, most everyone says that cooking wine should be as tasty as drinking wine. If you wouldn’t drink it, don’t cook with it! That being said, any choice from Tacoma Boys is sure to be delicious on its own or in wine recipes. Be sure to ask for assistance if looking for a certain type of wine: We can help you narrow down the choices from the hundreds of bottles to peruse!
