Quick & Easy Bacon Wrapped Dates
A little bit of chew, crispy edges, and both sweet + savory flavors come together for this simple appetizer. Bacon wrapped dates are popular for a reason — They’re quick and easy to whip up and only require a minimum of two ingredients!
Try this version with jalapeno slices and maybe a spoonful of cream cheese for something different.

- 12 slices Tacoma Boys Applewood Smoked Bacon, cut in half
- 24 Del Real Organic Medjool Dates
- 2-4 oz cream cheese, room temperature - optional
- 2-3 jalapenos, sliced
Directions
Preheat the Oven
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.Optional: Stuff the Dates
Optional: Cut a slit into each date lengthwise, making sure not to cut all the way through. Stuff with about a teaspoon of the cream cheese.Wrap the Bacon
Wrap each date with a half of a slice of bacon and place on a baking sheet. Secure with a toothpick and place a jalapeno slice over the toothpick.Bake & Serve
Bake in the preheated oven for about 25 minutes, rotating them halfway, or until the bacon is cooked through and crispy in some spots. Serve on an appetizer platter and enjoy!
