  • King Arthur Gluten Free Classic Yellow Cake Mix  
  • 1 cup Smith Brothers Farms Unsalted Butter, softened
  • 4 cups Woodstock Organic Powdered Sugar
  • ¼ cup Smith Brothers Farms Heavy Whipping Cream
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 tsp matcha powder
  • ½ tsp almond extract
  • Pinch salt

Directions

  • Make the Cupcakes

    Bake cupcakes according to package directions. Let cool completely.
  • Make the Frosting

    In a medium bowl, beat the butter until light and fluffy, then add the powdered sugar and beat to combine. Add the heavy cream, matcha, vanilla extract, almond extract, and pinch of salt and beat until well combined and fluffy.
  • Frost the Cupcakes

    Use a piping bag or spatula to gently spread the matcha frosting on the cupcakes and enjoy!
